Futsal School FAQ's

Where do sessions take place?

Futsal classes take place indoors, away from the great British weather. We are located in Samuel Ryder Academy's sports hall.

Do parents stay and watch?

Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch our Futsal sessions, although you are not obliged to.

What are the benefits of Futsal?

Futsal is a development playground! It rewards the same basic skills and tactics as football in a FUN, fast-paced and challenging environment. Speedy learning away from the elements.

What should my child wear and bring?

Any comfortable sports clothing is fine for Futsal classes. Kids will need to wear trainers or similar, flat, footwear, and bring a water bottle/drink too.

What age children can attend sessions?

Our Futsal sessions are open to girls and boys from 6 all the way to 16 years of age.

What is your cancellation policy?

Futsal classes are paid on a monthly subscription. Please write to us 14 days before your next payment is due. If you don’t give us at least 14 days notice, you will still be charged for the next month.

Saturday Soccer School FAQ's

Where do sessions take place?

Saturday Soccer School takes place outside on an astroturf football pitch. We are located at St Albans Girls School.

Can my child be with their sibling/friends?

We will try our best to group sibling/friends together. This may not be possible where age differences create an unsafe environment, but we will help if we can.

What age children can attend sessions?

Our Saturday football sessions are open to girls and boys, of any ability, aged 5 to 12 years of age.

What should my child wear?

Children will need to wear suitable sports clothing for outside. Studded or bladed football boots have to be worn on the astroturf.

Do parents stay and watch?

Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch Saturday football sessions, although you are not obliged to.

What is your cancellation policy?

Saturday morning football is paid on a monthly subscription. Please write to us 14 days before your next payment is due. If you don’t give us at least 14 days notice, you will still be charged for the next month.

Where do sessions take place?

Wildcats Girls Football takes place outside on an astroturf football pitch. We are located at St Albans Girls School.

Tots Football FAQ's

What will my child do at Tots Football?

The sessions begin with 10 minutes of free play to settle the children into the environment. We'll then challenge the kids with FUN movement and football games, some involving parent participation.

Do parents join in the sessions?

Although parents must stay for the entirety of the session, you are welcome to join in as much or as little as you wish. Tots tend to enjoy the support, but feel free to challenge your child's independence.

Tots Football sessions take place indoors to keep the elements from effecting your child's first steps in football. We are located in St Albans Girls School's sports hall.

What should my child wear and bring?

Any comfortable clothing is fine for Tots sessions. Kids can wear trainers or similar footwear, and bring a water bottle/drink too.

What age children can attend sessions?

Our Tots Football sessions are open to girls and boys aged 2-4 years old.

What is your cancellation policy?

Tots Football is paid on a monthly subscription. Please write to us 14 days before your next payment is due. If you don’t give us at least 14 days notice, you will still be charged for the next month.

Football Camp FAQ's

What will my child do on a Camp day?

Your child will take part in a morning and afternoon session based on our daily skill topic, play our FUN lunch-time challenges and finish up by competing in our daily football tournament.

Do you run Camps in all of the holidays?

We run Football Camps during every school holiday except for the Christmas holidays. We plan all dates in advance and will let you know on request.

What are the Camp times?

Our Football Camps run from 10:00AM until 3:00PM each day.

We also have early drop-off and late pick-up available, from 9:30AM until 3:30PM.

Can my child be with their sibling/friends?

We will try our best to group sibling/friends together. This may not be possible where age differences create an unsafe environment, but we will help if we can.

What age children can attend Camps?

All of our Football Camps are open to children and teenagers aged 5-16 years old.

What is your cancellation policy?

For holiday camp cancellations, if at least 3 days notice is given, a refund will be issued less a £5 processing fee per child per day. If less than 3 days notice is given, no refund is available.

After-School Club FAQ's

Where do sessions take place?

After-school clubs take place outside, on the school field or football pitch.

What age children can attend sessions?

After-School Clubs are open to girls and boys, of any ability, aged 5 to 11 years of age (school years 1 - 6). Check your school's booking link for availability.

What will my child do at After-School Football?

Your child will take part in FUN football sessions, helping them with their movement skills, ball skills and game understanding. Our curriculum is closely linked to the National PE curriculum.

What should my child wear?

Children will need to wear suitable sports clothing for outside. Studded or bladed football boots are preferable but trainers will do.

What if there is bad weather?

In the case of bad weather we will take sessions inside. If your school has the hall space we will adapt our football session appropriately, if not we have creative and team building games we can play in a classroom.
